Welcome to my web site! It is meant to not only inform but also inspire passion for life in all its form and beauty.   Feng shui, pronounced feng shway (hence my web site is named) is an ancient Chinese discipline that helps us identify conditions in our environment that affect us in either a positive or negative way.    Feng meaning 'wind' and shui  meaning 'water'  is best explained in the Chinese proverb  'As it is above so it will be below' .  According to feng shui the language of an environment tells a story, and if we change our surroundings using basic principles such as balance, proper placement or beauty we can change the story.  Throughout life, interaction with our surroundings can dramatically impair survival and growth or nourish and inspire happiness and prosperity. 

 Feng shui is just one of the tools available as a guide to help us in our quest for balance and beauty as it applies to not only our respective environments but also our personal relationships with others.
